These three cleansing products from Filorga are *chef’s kiss*

Cleansing is one of my favourite steps in my daily routine because of the instant gratification post wash. There’s nothing quite like removing the day’s build-up of SPF, make-up and excess debris from your skin, right?

As most of you know, I have a sensitive, rosacea-prone skin type which leans towards the dryer, more dehydrated side during winter. Over the years, I’ve tried and tested hundreds of cleansers; some great, some not so much, and realised that I require a cleanser that leaves my skin feeling hydrated and clean, not tight and uncomfortable. If it sends my skin into a sensitivity spiral, the cleanser in question will be given to a friend or family member to try.

1.        Filorga Skin-Prep Enzymatic Cleansing Foam, 150ml: Suitable for even the most sensitive of skin types (AKA me), this airy, foaming cleanser gently, but thoroughly cleanses my face and neck while eradicating the areas from dead skin cells after every wash. This creamy exfoliant melts upon application and is such a dream to use. Like the cleansing foam, it contains stabilised Papain Enzyme, along with volcanic sand beads to deeply cleanse the skin through mechanical and enzymatic means. You’ll also find ‘it girl’ ingredient niacinamide in the exfoliant which gives additional hydration, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory factors to the product. Use only 1-2 times a week (this isn’t for daily use).

3.        Filorga Skin-Prep Micellar Solution, 400ml: Still on the fence when it comes to micellar waters? They’re ideal for taking off sunscreen or double cleansing. If you have sensitive skin, give this one a whirl. This 3-in-1 micellar water does it all so effortlessly and removes any kind of make-up (even shimmery eyeshadow and stubborn mascara) without irritating the skin. If I’m running late and need to give my face a quick refresh, this is my go-to product. Simply dispense the micellar water onto a cotton pad or two and swipe onto your skin. You’ll feel as good as new. FYI - this product suits all skin types and the 400ml size lasts for ages.

THIRDLY:

We have the Neutrogena Bright Boost Gel Cream, R199,95: It’s my favourite product of them all! It has a soft, lightweight texture that also contains AHAs so use an SPF after this product. When used with the Illuminating Serum, my complexion seemed revitalized and rejuvenated. You can also use it day or night (or both).

LASTLY:
