Meet My Current Cleansing Clique

These three products have been my go-to cleansers over the past few months.

Cleansing is one of my favourite steps in my daily routine because of the way it makes my skin feel. It’s relieving to rid your skin of the day’s build-up of SPF, make-up, excess oil and debris – right?

As most of you know, I have a sensitive, rosacea-prone skin type which leans towards the dryer, more dehydrated side, especially during winter. Over the years, I’ve tried and tested hundreds of cleansers; some great, some not so much and require cleansing products that leave my skin squeaky clean without that unpleasant feeling of tightness.

Enter Filorga’s Skin-Prep range:

1.        Filorga Skin-Prep Enzymatic Cleansing Foam, 150ml: Suitable for even the most sensitive of skin types (AKA me), this airy, foaming cleanser gently, but thoroughly cleanses after every use and eradicates dead skin cells thanks to hero ingredient stabilised Papain Enzyme. All you need is two pumps of the lightweight formula to cover the entire face. I can safely report that there’s zero tightness post use.

2.        Filorga Skin-Prep Enzymatic Exfoliating Cream, 75ml: Winter’s here in full force so that means my skin needs extra TLC to keep it smooth as can be. This creamy exfoliant melts upon application and is a dream to use. Like the cleansing foam, it contains stabilised Papain Enzyme, along with volcanic sand beads to deeply cleanse the skin through mechanical and enzymatic means. It also has ‘it girl’ ingredient niacinamide to provide additional hydration, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory factors to the product. I use it twice a week to keep my skin looking and feeling as smooth as can be.

3.        Filorga Skin-Prep Micellar Solution, 400ml: Still on the fence when it comes to micellar waters? If you have sensitive skin like me, give this one a whirl. Micellar waters are ideal for taking make-up off or double cleansing. This 3-in-1 micellar water does it all without the discomfort – it removes all sorts of make-up (even eyeshadow and stubborn mascara) gently but effectively. It cleanses and leaves the skin feeling fresh and hydrated. It suits all skin types and I love the giant 400ml size.
