Feeling Fresh with ESI's Aloe Fresh Whitening Tooth Paste

February is always known as the month of love. I’ve enjoyed seeing so many brands and people put emphasis on self-love and self-care this time round. We often overlook it. ⁣

I’ve always believed that oral hygiene is essential. Regular dental check-ups coupled with a consistent at-home routine results in you maintaining those pearly whites for longer. I use ESI's Aloe Fresh Whitening Tooth Paste because it helps with my sensitivity and thanks to ingredients such as Tea Tree oil, Mint, Menthol and Aloe Vera, my mouth remains bacteria free and minty fresh 🍃👌⁣⁣

It contains Horse Chestnut, Silica and Iceland Moss for the whitening effect and is free from Sodium Laureth Sulfate and Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (these are cleaning and whitening substances which could potentially damage enamel and gums). ⁣

I urge you to put in that extra effort when you brush and floss. Your smile deserves it. 😌

Available from www.esisa.co.za for R65. ⁣

Bzzz…

One of my favourite earth-friendly brands is back in SA!

Meet Burt’s Bees: an earth-friendly and iconic beauty brand born in the backyard of a beekeeper 30 years ago. I was introduced to BB back in my Beauty Editor days at FAIRLADY Magazine and was so excited to be reunited with it a few weeks ago.

Now, I feel like it’s my duty to spread the Burt’s Bees love….

It contains no parabens, petrolatum, SLS (which stands for Sodium Laureth Sulfate) or phthalates. The brand also doesn’t test on animals.

These fruity formulas pictured <in my hand above> are designed to soothe, moisturise and protect dry, chapped lips and have gone straight into my handbag . And car. And gym bag. And jacket pocket.

The cherry one has stolen my heart because of the scent (obviously) and slight red tint . However, they’re all the bee’s knees.

FYI: The cuticle balm works fantastically on your brows to keep them in place.

I’ve been dabbling in brow lamination of late (detailed blog post still to follow) and it’s proven to be a success.

Browse Takealot and Dis-Chem pharmacies’ online stores for the Burt’s Bees product selection if you don’t feel like popping into store!
